Steal this boat! Speczacular - 58' Cayman 2005

Speczacular needs a new loving owner to care and cruise her. Her current owner is ready for a new boat.

The Cayman Yachts brand name was established in 1990, within the Mochi Craft Company, as the brainchild of Luigi Prosperi who was at that time Mochi Craft Chairman. In 1996, after having left the Mochi Craft Company, Prosperi formed the Cayman brand in La Spezia, Italy. He built his headquarters and a new shipyard with the support of his son, Paolo, a naval engineer, using the Cayman brand to kick-start the new company. Cayman is now well known in Europe. Luigi and Paolo continue to build Cayman Yachts from 42 feet to 75 feet.

With low hours Speczacular has had light use and great care. She has three staterooms all with en-suite heads with showers. Stepping into her finely finished matched grain pear wood cabin you can still smell the beautiful leather sofa like the day she was built. Hidden in the saloon is a full galley with fridge, cook top, microwave and double sink.

Her air-conditioned enclosed wheel house has an opening hard top, a large comfortable dinette and mini galley.

Wild Swan - Mackinac Class Sloop

This beautiful classic Sparkman & Stephens design is worth a look. She is one of a series of boats built by Fisher Boat Works of Chicago to S&S design #509. The boat was launched in 1947 and has had continual upgrades through the years and is in great shape. If you are looking for a reasonably priced S&S classic that is in "turn key" condition, she is well worth a look.

Patriot - 70' Hinckley 2002

Patriot was built in 2002 as the premier example of what the Hinckley Company can produce from a quality and aesthetic point of view. Many people view it as the prettiest large Hinckley sailing yacht ever built. In the fall of 2010 I sailed her off the coast of Maine in 40 knots of wind. She handled incredibly well and was a joy to be on. We achieved speeds in excess of 13 knots with reefs in both the main and genoa.

The layout of the boat is very comfortable with a great nav station to starboard and huge owners cabin aft.

Sceptre'd Isle - 63' Alden Sloop 1998

This attractive sloop was designed by the offices of John G. Alden, naval architects of Boston. She was built by a joint venture with Eric Goetz Custom Boats of Bristol, Rhode Island producing the composite hull, deck and structure. The boat was then shipped to Derecktor Shipyards of Mamaroneck, New York who fitted her out with systems, machinery and joinery. She was launched in 1998.

Her current owners are very experienced yachtsmen and have spared no expense on her upkeep.

Here are the plans, courtesy of John G. Alden.
