Tethys is a three stateroom boat (+ 2 in crew) and perfect for Caribbean cruising and well beyond. She is a powerful true blue water sailing yacht designed by Germán Frers. Her profile is distinctive due to her well balanced overhangs and traditional transom.

This boat has been continually upgraded and will fly through survey. Please click here to access the complete listing.

Here are the plans.

Rose Wilder - Owner Must Sell

ROSE WILDER (ex SANDPIPER)

LOA 50' LWL 34' 6" Beam 12' Draft 7' 6"
Designer: Sparkman & Stephens 1968 Builder: Sangermani

The owner called yesterday to tell me he is very interested in selling his boat in the very near future. He dropped the price $36,000 to $259,000 but I would encourage you to make an offer. She was built by one of the best yards in Italy and has been well maintained through the years. I think someone might just get a very good deal. Check her out on our company blog.

Patrician 55' Scheel Daysailer by Van Dam

LOA 55'-0" LWL 41'-0" Beam 13'-6" Draft 6'-6"
Designer: Henry A. Scheel Jr.
Builder: Van Dam Custom Boats - 1988

When I first saw PATRICIAN soon after she was built, I was so taken by her that I walked all the way around the edge of the harbor to take a closer look at her. She is an incredibly beautiful boat and the idea that someone would go to all the trouble to commission Henry A. Scheel to draw her and find Van Dam Custom Boats to build a boat that was only to be used for day sailing is astounding. Yet he did, and the result is a beautiful combination of a well thought out arrangement and very high quality woodworking. The cozy interior is as well crafted as the exterior and has everything one needs, head, galley, chart table and two comfortable bunks for naps or the occasional overnight.

Now for sale by her third owner, she has been afforded the ultimate in care and upgrading by each of her three owners. The only problem the second owner found was her upwind performance, so the third owner installed a slightly deeper keel and rudder designed by Sparkman & Stephens as Harry Scheel, who I had known growing up in Stonington, Connecticut, had passed away. She is lying in Palm Beach and has an asking price $565,000.

Please contact me to arrange an inspection or come see her at the Palm Beach Boat Show, March 22-25, 2012.
