Mustang and Morgan's Ghost - Club Swan 42s

With the 2012 racing season rapidly approaching, these two Club Swan 42s are excellent choices in this exciting fleet.

In 2005, the New York Yacht Club set out to create another NYYC one-design class. Since its launch, this class has been a huge success. With one-design and handicap racing taking place around the world. The boats are capable of offshore racing, round the buoys racing or family cruising. The Swan 42 Class is very active and strong. There is a very good fleet in the New England, USA area with upwards of 10-15 boats at major regattas. Every other year the NYYC hosts the Invitational Cup which brings yacht clubs from around the world to race in this exciting event in the Club Swan 42s.

The class is based on Owner-Drivers and the level of competition is extremely high, but with the boats being equal in performance, the victories go to those with the best crew work and tactics. While the boats are all equal, it never hurts when extra preparation goes into maximizing speed potential. Both Mustang and Morgan's Ghost have benefited from top level preparation. Both are lightly used and race ready. Mustang recently finished 3rd in the Invitational Cup, demonstrating just how fast she is.
